Dr. Rona T. Weiss - Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Rona Weiss is a New York State Licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Weiss offers an individualized approach to treatment utilizing insight oriented, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal methodologies.
Dr. Weiss has also had extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities and attentional problems and provides psychological and neuropsychological testing to children, adolescents, and adults, as a major component of her practice.
With her twenty five years of experience working in school settings as a school psychologist and as an administrator of special education services, Dr. Weiss is well versed in special education law. Thus, she can offer parents guidance and support as they navigate the special education process in their school districts in their efforts to obtain the appropriate school based services for their child.
